I pray that I do this expose/ subject justice/ correctly.
It's very important that I get this post right. You know how major
cover-ups go in the real world. People don't want you to know the REAL
truth, and that certainly includes Gov'ts, the VA and Big Industry-- to
the FDA and Big Pharma.
If indeed a major company like Chrysler claims that, if you somehow
win the right to collect SSDI [Social Security DISABILITY Insurance]
after or because you were injured on or after the job, or after
retirement-- that THEY have the right to ALL of your disability money,
you had better do your homework! But as I last got word today from
Benefits Express-- the Chrysler/ Union Reps. Info network, our pension
is a combination of several contributions over years combined with
years worked that DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS!
Please remember this key point.
Go figure, if you are like me, working all your life and paying
INTO the SS system, that money is YOURS [ours]! What the Gov't and
the company REALLY wants is that you [we] DIE before your time and all
that money goes back into the Social Security system to fund Gov't
liberal "benefits" and 'entitlements' for people who have never worked
a day in their lives, illegal aliens and their perks, education, food
stamps (but some for honest people who are desperate, hurt, poor ,
maybe blind or disabled for no fault of their own...) etc., all except
the people who have worked hard and honest all their lives and paid
into the SS system! That is exactly what the left, liberal, socialist
people want-- the 'working man's' money $$$!! But without assigning
blame [for now], the kicker is, insurance companies experts can pretty
much calculate how long we will live. So if we retire at age 62 1/2 or
age 65 and our life expectancy is about age 72, we are only expected to
use and receive ONLY A FEW YEARS OF SOCIAL SECURITY! Fact is, we will
probably run out of SS in 10-20 years or so, OR we will only collect a
FRACTION of what we should receive, because that SS system is pretty
much broke. But why should the 'working class' support that rich and
the poor??
I don't want anything that I didn't earn-- but the free loaders and
aliens will get what I [we] worked for all our lives, and my dear
disabled surviving spouse will get a fraction of what she needs to live
on after I am gone. I am also a Disabled Vietnam Veteran: 68-70, so
you might say that I paid my dues twice. Oh well...
Now after I won a hard fight that entitles me to SSDI because I can
no longer work after I retired, Chrysler says that I received an "over
payment" of Social Security [SSDI], and has raided/ taken about 99% of
my
April $2600 monthly pension check leaving me with about $43.60, knowing
full well that I could never pay my mortgage and other bills, and they
intend to take the same away until $36K is re-paid--- and that is in
the year 2010 or latter! They are burning me because I just MIGHT
LIVE longer than they want me to and collect some of MY paid -in Social
Security! Talk about David and Goliath...LOL. I firmly believe that
this is not only mean-spirited, but ILLEGAL. It is certainly immoral,
unjustified, unscrupulous, and unethical ! I recently found out that
there are many others retired from Chrysler, with SSDI, that have the
same life shattering problem-- -and we should UNITE to bring a class
action suit against 'Goliath' now! After we are bankrupt we won't
have much to fight with. BTW, the company has NEVER given a tinker's
damn what happened to us, and it is my personal belief/ opinion that
they have either bought off the UAW Union or intimidated them against
helping the rank and file/ retirees victims find out the real TRUTH of
the matter. What a shame--what a sinful, stinking sham! Time will
tell if I am right or wrong. May God judge the perpetrators according
to their deeds.
This is probably not the last I will post about this subject... but
I have been known to take on powerful, rich giants. I am a soldier.
If I meet with some "accident" in the mean time-- please carry on the
fight and expose the greedy ones and help the righteous get what is
legally and rightfully theirs.
